Sedgefield Park Work Day - Adopt A Bench Or Picnic Table

September 19th is National Clean up Day and the Sedgefield Neighborhood Association is hosting a Sedgefield Park Work day. It's a great way to give back to the community and our lovely Park and leave your mark on history at the same time.

We have worked with the Parks Department to create a fun and creative way to rebuild our park benches and picnic tables that have worn down over the years. 

Families and small friend groups get to adopt a Bench or Table and come out on Saturday to work on it. And.....you and your family and or team can even write your name and date it on the underside once completed! Such a great way to get involved with the park we all love and want to protect.

What is involved:
· Remove existing wood parts
· Parks service is supplying precut wood on site and hardware
· Attach new wood and reassemble the bench
There are a limited number of slots available, so please follow the link below to sign up and guarantee your spot and project:) There are around 25 available spots. The total project time is about an hour.
Work Day is from 9-12 Saturday September 19th. You pick a time.
