Join us at Sedgefield Park for the Biggest Neighborhood Event of the Year
It all started in 1998 when Sedgefield neighbors wanted an excuse to get together and BBQ in their neighborhood park while getting to know one another a little better. Today it has grown into a hidden gem one-day festival with live music, local artisan vendors, food trucks & plenty of fun for the whole family. All of the fun takes place at Sedgefield Park (600 Elmhurst Lane, Charlotte, NC 28203).
Family Activities
There will be a number of fun activities for kids of all ages to enjoy at Sedgefest. The Kids Zone will be located in the center of the park, just under the pavilion. Among the activities available this year:
Games
Arts and Crafts
Face Painting
Balloon Animals
Trackless Train Rides
Live Entertainment
After a successful appearance at the 2023 installment of Sedgefest, we are pleased feature Dead Man's Banjo as the headlining entertainment at Sedgefest 2024. Dead Man's Banjo is a Charlotte-based band offering a variety of covers - some done to the vest, but most with a unique style and acoustic flair (think Bob Marley with a banjo and mandolin). From classic 70's, 80's and 90's pop and rock, to traditional Irish anthems and today's eclectic sounds, Dead Man's Banjo spans a musical spectrum to deliver fun and familiar sounds to their loyal 'band-aids' that help enhance those special times with friends.

Please review the available volunteer opportunities and sign up for at least one slot (more, if you are able!). Thank you to all those who have volunteered their time in the past, and to those that continue to help us pull off this event for our neighborhood. We look forward to seeing you there!
